6MW Fast Charger Loadbank Switchroom 

Modunex delivered high-quality as-built 3D modelling for a 6MW fast charger loadbank switchroom as part of Fortescue Zero’s pioneering heavy electric vehicle charging project. The switchroom supports factory acceptance testing and validation of the world-first 6MW fast charger, designed to charge 240-tonne battery electric mining trucks in under 30 minutes. Our structural and mechanical modelling captured the constructed condition accurately, aligned with Fortescue’s zero-emission mining objectives.

Yara drop down stair

Modunex provided a complete detailing service for custom hydraulic drop-down access stairs, including 3D modelling, general arrangement drawings, and shop detailing to fabrication standard.​

• 3D modelling of the hydraulic drop-down stair, including cylinder arrangements, hinges, locking mechanisms, safety rails, and structural interfaces for coordination and clash detection.​
• General arrangement drawings showing plans, elevations, sections, clearances, key dimensions, levels, and connection points for review and approval.​
• Shop detailing with coordinated stair assemblies, mounting brackets, pins, plates, bolt lists, hydraulic component mounting details, and material schedules for efficient fabrication and installation.

KBT Sulphur Shed Remediation

Location: Kwinana, Western Australia

• Conducted comprehensive on-site 3D laser scanning to capture as-built conditions of the sulphur shed.
• Processed point cloud data and developed an accurate 3D model in Bentley ProStructures.
• Produced high-quality general arrangement drawings to support remediation planning and construction activities.

Location: Karratha, Western Australia

• Processed client-provided 3D scan data to establish a precise as-built basis for design.
• Developed a coordinated 3D model of the causeway watermain, including all critical fittings and interfaces.
• Prepared general arrangement and isometric drawings for fabrication and installation.

Safe Access Upgrades – Loading and Unloading Ramp

Location: Goldfields, Western Australia

• Developed concept design for handrails, swing gates, and a concrete stairway for MMO review.
• Engineered final designs to comply with AS 1657 requirements for industrial access systems.
• Produced hybrid steelwork and concrete drawings for combined structural and shop fabrication use.​

Feedwell Roof Design and Feeder Cone Remediation

Location: Gold Fields, Western Australia

• Processed and back-modelled 3D scan data for the existing feedwell structure.
• Reinforced and added additional openings to the feedwell to meet operational requirements.
• Developed a concept design for the feeder cone, addressing structural and maintenance needs.
